About the Business
The inspiration behind the product is Charl Marais, a South African braai BBQ extraordinaire, who decided that Ireland might appreciate a little of the flavour of his home country. After attempting many times to braai in the Irish weather, Charl decided that he needed something which would work just as well under cover as outdoors so he began to design and build a spit roast machine which is not only smoke free, but cooks the meat perfectly in a few hours, enabling us to cook the joints completely fresh for you onsite.
Charl has imported his vision of the traditional spit roast South African style, but has built everything himself using locally sourced material. All we need is a well ventilated indoor area or a space big enough to erect a gazebo which will protect your food and your friends from any unpredictable weather.
