Trevor started his catering career by completing his city & guilds 706/1 706/2 in catering at Great Yarmouth college of further education in Norfolk. Sally started her catering career at Norwich city college in Norfolk with a course in a national diploma in catering then city & guilds 706/2 then completed a course in patisserie city & guilds 711. She then worked at various hotels & restaurants around Norfolk due to family commitments she took a post in school meals being leading the team at Aylsham middle school.

Sally then moved to the industrial sector where she again worked as a peripatetic where she could be part of the team or lead the kitchen producing 20 to 1200 meals per day.
