Esme has enjoyed a 40-year career in catering, having originally trained in hotel management at Hollings College in Manchester. She then attended the Cordon Bleu School in London, where she achieved her Advanced Certificate in Cookery, which supported her in her further career working as a private chef in Chantilly, France and at Chateau Leoville Barton in Pauillac, France. Esme set up Jelly Belly Catering in 2000, having identified a clear local and regional demand for high-quality catering at events whose organisers wanted to be free to concentrate on their role as hosts, rather than as cooks and serving personnel!
